Screw-in cartridge valve technology allows to concentrate a large number of hydraulic functions into a single block. It permits to realize a single valve controlling the descent of a cylinder as well as an elaborate block for the various operations of a machine. Cartridge bodies are manufactured from high grade cold drawn steel bar for maximum performance and durability.

These valves comply with International Standard ISO8643 for hydraulic excavators and backhoe loaders incorporating servo pilot system. The function of this valve is to prevent uncontrolled lowering of the boom in the event of hose rupture. The closure of the valve is activated by bringing the main control valve lever to the neutral position.
